As we continue to seek natural and holistic solutions to pain, dysfunction, stress and illness, we are seeing new opportunities for healing to occur in unconventional yet effective ways.

Remote healing is one such effective method.

No muss, no fuss.

It is possible to get the therapy you need to improve your health without leaving the comfort, safety, and convenience of your own home.

Imagine the ease of relaxing in familiar surroundings and being guided through a healing process when you need it and where you need it.

You no longer need to travel to an office to receive care!

Healing without physical touching.

Even under the best of circumstances, getting used to a therapist’s touch requires moving through a barrier, however subtle it may be.

Removing physical touch changes the dynamic and enables the client and therapist to collaborate through energy and intention to co-create healing with the client’s body.

Remote sessions even open new opportunities for individuals who have concerns with physical touch.

Body awareness leads to well-being.

Remote sessions are admittedly different, and that is the beauty of them!

Through expanded awareness of your body, you will experience deep relaxation and significant body-mind shifts as the body rebalances itself for optimal health and well-being.

The process is very peaceful and comforting, and the results are impressive. Remote sessions are effective at providing pain relief, stress relief, and emotional balance.

Preparing for your session is simple.

Prior to our first session together, we will have a consultation call. You will complete a client intake form so that I am aware of your health background as well as your health and wellness goals.

It is ideal if you can schedule the session on a day when you have a light schedule, before and after the session.

Once the session ends, the body continues to integrate the shifts that occurred during the session. It is very helpful if you can relax for 30-60 minutes afterwards.

Immediately before the session, you will want to turn off all electronics other than your phone. It’s a good idea to put your phone into Do Not Disturb Mode during our session.

You will be lying down on your bed or on comfortable furniture where you can fully recline and feel supported. If you want to have relaxing instrumental music playing in the background, that is fine. I can recommend Pandora stations or individual artists ahead of time if you like.

The session begins with a brief conversation.

You will be invited to do a mental scan of your body and describe any sensations you are experiencing at that moment.

I will invite you to do a breathing exercise with me. Then, I will ask your permission to begin the session. At that point, I will be connecting with your energy field and your central nervous system.

During the session, I will work in silence.

You are free to provide feedback and let me know what you are experiencing.

I generally keep my comments to a minimum during the session so that you are free to experience your body and its energy field without external influence.

Your comfort and ease are my priority during the session, so your feedback and questions are always welcome.

Discovery is part of the process.

As I am silently working, I am making notes on what I am discovering and what I am sensing within your body.

Toward the end of our session, I will check in with you, letting you know that session is close to ending and ask whether you have a specific area you would like me to focus on during our remaining time together.

Sharing impressions and experiences provide direction.

At the end of the session, I will invite you to share your impressions and experiences. What did you notice, observe, or feel?

After you have shared your experiences, I offer to share my observations. If appropriate, I may suggest some techniques for you to try on your own.

We can then discuss next steps that will help you continue to move forward on your healing journey.

After we end our conversation, I encourage you to continue to relax and allow the session to integrate into your body.
